Endangering us all…
January 22nd, 2009 under Appeasement, Barack Hussein Obama, Leftists, Military, Terrorism. [ Comments: none ]

Barack Hussein Obama today signed an executive order, ordering that Club Gitmo be closed within a year. He didn’t say what we’re going to do with the tangos currently cooling there heels in there.

It’s been my understanding, their birth countries don’t want them back. So, what’s left? Well, I suppose we could just drop them back where we picked them up from. But that’s more than likely to ‘inhumane’ for the bleeding hearts to do. No…more than likely, they’re gonna end up right here in the USofA.

Earlier last week, in a perfect example of leftist "nimbyism" Kansas Gov. Katie Sebelius  mentioned that she fully supported the dismantling of Club Gitmo

"…oh…. but… uhm… yeah.. .we don’t want these… uhm… nice folks… to be detained in Ft. Leavenworth military prison (or anywhere in Kansas for that matter)."

Okay okay, I’m paraphrasin’ but that’s basically what she said. Now, being a capitalist, the gears in my mind start turning, and I’m thinking…why not? Why not Ft. Leavenworth military prison? Seriously, think of the revenue that would bring in Lady Gov!

First off, jobs will be created. They’ll need to hire people to build the new mosque in Leavenworth, where all the terror…err…detainees supporters will be worshipping. Secondly, the town will grow in size, with the number of attorneys, and reporters and lookey-loos who will be utilizing hotels, motels, spending their dough in the restaurants and gas stations and such.

Katey…you need to think about the big pitcure hun.

Obama’s Uncle a Pinko-Commie?
May 27th, 2008 under Barack Hussein Obama, DUH, Dumbasses, Elections, Honor. [ Comments: none ]

Barack Hussein Obama, speaking in Las Cruces, NM on Memorial Day, is either lying, or coming out of the closet with his family history. Memorial is a special day. Extra special for those of us who love our country, and who hold in awe the men and women who have given their lives for it. They offered the ultimate sacrifice, so that I can sit here, and write this. Providing me, and you, and the rest of America, the freedom of speech we hold so dear, and cherish so much.

image

Obama told the story yesterday (on Memorial Day mind you), about how his uncle helped liberate Auschwitz concentration camp at the end of World War II.

“I had a uncle who was one of the, who was part of the first American troops to go into Auschwitz and liberate the concentration camps…."

The question that comes to mind is, why would Obama tell such a story? Since Obama never served in the military, maybe he feels he is at a bit of a disadvantage. Maybe he felt inferior to McCain, a former POW from Viet Nam. Or, it’s possible that he wants to – on some deep level – come clean about his family ties.

The problem with Obama’s story is that the American’s did not liberate Auschwitz. The Soviet Union did. So, unless his uncle was a pinko-commie, it’s all just another big lie. Much like how his parents met at the Selma march (which occurred after Obama’s birth – do the math genius).

Should a man who knows so little about American history…and indeed African-American history…be elected? Frankly, it scares me. What in the hell did this guy learn in school? How did he get to the position he is?

The leftards are really good at painting Bush as an idiot. But I’ll bet you dollars to donuts, he knows that his parents could not have met for the first time after his birth. In addition, I’d wager that he knows who liberated Auschwitz.

The thing is, with so many gross lies about his history, and his family history. How do we know what is truth and what is fiction? How do we trust anything this guy tells us? I don’t think I can. Is he Muslim? Don’t know, and frankly, don’t really care. Was his uncle a commie? Don’t know and don’t really care. But whether I care or not really isn’t the issue. The issue is, is he lying (again)? That, I do care about.

Oh, and one more thing…his mother is an only child. Makes one wonder what uncle was fighting with the Reds..doesn’t it?

"A Bitter America?" Well, DUH!
April 15th, 2008 under 1st Amendment, 2nd Amendment, Barack Hussein Obama, Elections, John McCain. [ Comments: none ]

image I received an email from the John McCain campaign today. In the subject line was the simple question "A Bitter America?"

The email centered around Barack Hussein Obama’s speech in that bastion of liberalness, San Francisco, in which Barack Hussein Obama "described Americans who live in small towns or other areas that have experienced a loss of jobs as "bitter" people, adding that it didn’t surprise him that they, ‘..cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.’"

This type of talk, if it what he truly believes, and not something he was simply pandering to the progressive secular elitists in San Francisco, is so far off the mark. Boiled down to its essence, what I see Barack Hussein Obama saying is, "you people who like your right to bear arms, and your right to freedom of religion, if you don’t like the current influx of illegal aliens (it seems the left always leaves out the illegal part when dealing with illegal immigration), you’re just bitter people who don’t know any better."

McCain’s response to this is:

"During the Great Depression, with many millions of Americans out of work and the country suffering the worst economic crisis in our history, there rose from small towns, rural communities, inner cities, a generation of Americans who fought to save the world from despotism and mass murder, and came home to build the wealthiest, strongest and most generous nation on earth.

They suffered the worst during the Depression, but it did not shake their faith in, and fidelity to, America. They did not turn to their religious faith and cultural traditions out of resentment and a feeling of powerlessness to affect the course of government or pursue prosperity. On the contrary, their faith had given generations of their families’ purpose and meaning, as it does today."

Now, I would have to agree that people don’t cherish their freedom to bear arms, freedom to worship as they see fit, and freedom to voice their opposition to those who break the law by illegally entering our country, but I think McCain is missing the mark. He seems to believe that those of us in fly-over country, those of us in the small towns and rural landscapes, are content. That we are not bitter. In fact, it is my experience that the opposite is true.

The people Barack Hussein Obama is speaking of are bitter. They are bitter because they see the bought-and-paid for representatives in Congress chipping away at their rights. They see the likes of the ACLU trying to silence them when they speak up, or otherwise display their love for God and Christ. They are bitter because the far left are proponents of illegal immigration, and don’t mind that people are hemorrhaging into this country at an unsustainable rate.

McCain, on the other hand, doesn’t acknowledge that bitterness. Either he doesn’t realize it is there, or he simply chooses to ignore it. Either way, it presents him as out-of-touch with America as the Democrats are painting him. I fail to see how the bitterness and distaste for our so-called representatives in Congress can in anyway shape or form be linked to the Great Depression. What is McCain getting out with this statement? I don’t see it. Maybe I’m to jaded and…bitter.

Too little too late?
March 18th, 2008 under Barack Hussein Obama, Elections, Morality, Religion. [ Comments: none ]

obamaturbin Over the past almost year, we’ve heard stories and rumors of stories regarding Barack Hussein Obama’s minister, the (un)Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s racist views, and his denouncing of America as a country.

Until now, Obama has excused his pastor (whom, in a speech today, he refers to as his ‘former’ pastor). Offering justifications for Wrights antagonistic rhetoric. Wright grew up in the 60’s, an era full of racial tensions and explosive demonstrations. But does that excuse someone who jumps up on his pulpit, and denounces the country he lives in? I don’t think so. There are plenty of people who grew up in that time span, and plenty of people who has experiences almost-but-not-quite-exactly the same as Wrights.

What does Obama’s (former?) pastor have to do with the man? That’s a good question. If everyone had to be judged by their pastor, we might not cut mustard. But Wright is not simply Obama’s pastor. I say ‘is’ and not ‘was’ because I fully believe Obama’s denunciation of Wright today is a completely political move, to try and distance himself from the fire and brimstone and “America stinks” views of his pastor.

Obama has called Wright his pastor, mentor, friend. Obama sat in this pastor’s church for some 20 years, listening to his vile rhetoric, and seems to be now surprised that Wright holds such views. Wright officiated the marriage between Obama and his wife (you know, the one that thinks women should stick to teaching and nursing), and baptized his daughters.

Again, that is what a pastor is supposed to do. What gets me is that Obama was somehow completely blind-sided by the pastor’s anti-American, anti-Jewish, anti-Caucasian  views and preaching. Either Obama didn’t go to church as often as he lets on or he was sleeping during the hellfire and brimstone services, or (and most likely) he truly believes in what Wright has been saying.

Not once in my conversations with him have I heard him talk about any ethnic group in derogatory terms,...

Perhaps not in conversation, but notice that Obama doesn't say he has never heard Wright talk about ethnics in derogatory terms, he just hasn't heard him talk that way in their conversations. Quite an omission if you ask me.

The thing is, that since the beginning of this campaign, Obama and his supporters, have been making excuses for, and trying to marginalize Wright's hate-filled speeches. This has been an issue which has largely been ignored by the mainstream media, and was disseminated pretty much solely in the blogosphere and via ultra-right wing radio talk shows. But now that the MSM has jumped on this story, Obama had to do more, so he drops his pastor of 20 years, drops the man who officiated his marriage, and baptized his children.

He claims because of one speech made recently. How is that for loyalty? How is it that, after 20 years of spiritual guidance, mentorship and friendship, your pastor makes one speech and suddenly he is not longer your pastor? No, it wasn't this last speech alone. It was a lifetime of racial hatred towards anyone not black that caused Obama to attempt to distance himself from Wright. But you'll never hear Obama admit that.

Michelle Obama: Be a teacher
February 29th, 2008 under Barack Hussein Obama, Elections, Women's rights. [ Comments: none ]

Barack Hussein Obama’s wife, Michelle just might be this guy’s downfall. While speaking to women, she discouraged them from going for advanced degrees, and going into corporate America. Instead, she encourages them to enter the service industry.

“You know, become teachers. Work for the community. Be social workers. Be a nurse.”

All this, while whining about how much it costs her to send her kids to piano and dance lessons (about 1/3 of the average income of the group she was speaking too).

Mrs. Obama also bemoaned the amount of money she has to spend — nearly one-third of the median household income in Zanesville — on piano, dance, and other lessons for her two children.

How many years have women in American struggled to get where they are today? To be able to be captains of industry? To be able to run for President of the United States, and actually have a shot? And Michelle wants women to go back to the 60’s and be nurses and teachers? What kind of crap is that? What next? Never leave the house without your husband? Wear head to foot coverings? Sheesh.

Barack Hussein Obama wants American defenseless
February 29th, 2008 under Barack Hussein Obama, Elections, Military. [ Comments: 1 ]

These are his own words. This isn’t some editorialized story. Watch the video. He wants to drastically cut the arms budget. Slow down our military arms research. And get rid of all of our defensive weapons.

No, really, just watch the vid.
