It is good to learn new things. For instance, I learned today that there is a government entity which goes by the name of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF - one would think, with all that tax payer money at their disposal, they could come up with a name that made a better acronym). I didn’t know this group existed. Now, I know what your thinking. Your thinking “F-ing George Bush, making a spending on tax payer dollars on telling other countries how to handle their religion.” Well, chill out there Sparky, because this commission came into existence in 1998 - a full three years before W took office - so blame Billy boy for that one.
One thing I found the USCIRF does is keep an eye on the Islamic Saudi Academy (ISA) over there in Fairfax County, VA. The ISA sits on land owned by the Saudi Embassy, which I suppose would make it soveriegn Saudi territory, but I could be wrong since I am yet a few hours short of my “Bachelors of International Real Estate Affairs” degree. However, the private school does have Americans included in its approximately 1,000 member student body.
The USCIRF is asking the State Department to close down the school (I didn’t even know the State Department had any say in the school system in the US, let alone a private school). USCIRF says the school is telling the kids to go out and kill Jews and Christians, and even Shiite Muslims and other Muslims who are not following the teachings of Islam. But since there are several teachings, I guess it would be the Saudi-approved teaching of Islam. You know, the type of teachings that gave us such proponents of love and tolerance as Osama Bin Laden and most of the 9/11 terrorists. Your basic “Religion of Peace” teachings it seems.
The textbooks, supplied by the Saudis (natch!), it is claimed, say things along the lines of “the hour of judgment will not come until Muslims rise up and kill all the Jews.” In addition, the textbooks call Jews and Christians pigs and apes (but seriously, who cares? sticks-n-stones, right?). All that in addition to discussing how, in general, their god sanctions violence against the Jews and Christians.
I don’t know what the State Department can do about it really. I don’t know that they can close down the school. What they are teaching is wrong, but what can be done about it? If the parents of the children don’t pull their kids out of the school, then they are at least passively agreeing with the violent teachings.
Oh, and oddly enough, CAIR’s website is blatantly silent on this deal. For folks that claim to represent mainstream Muslims in America, they don’t seem to be to worked up about a Muslim school telling the kiddies it is ok to kill Jews, Christians, Shiites, Infedels, fags, trannies and uppity women. I wonder why?
All this, brought to you - once again - by your friendly neighborhood “Religion of Peace.”

An article I read this morning has made me think of the differences between Christian living and Muslim living.
Recently a Catholic churct in McKinney, Texas was vandalized. The numerals ‘666′ as well as some grossly offensive and vile words were spay painted on the statue of St. Michael, the Sanctuary doors and in the parking lot. This is what the pastor, Stephen Bierschenk, had to say about it:
It depicts a person who is very angry, I’d say, and prejudice.
What we preach and the way we try to live is to try and forgive them, during the services this weekend I plan to ask everybody to offer a prayer that God will heal the heart of the person who did (it).
While, when a mosque in Tampa, FL is vandalized, the people demand that local and federal law enforcement search for some sort of bias motive. It is almost as if they actually want people to be biased against them. Why? Because biased crimes (a/k/a hate crimes) will usually carry a stiffer penalty.
Just to recap here; The Catholic priest wants to pray for the offender’s soul, so that the offender might come to God and be forgiven and experience eternal happiness. The Muslims want the offender to be punished more harshly because they are Muslim and the offender isn’t.
Just gotta love that whole “religion of peace” thing, don’t ya?

CAIR has issued a news release applauding the FBI work in stopping the terrorist attack on Fort Dix in New Jersey. This statement is very carefully worded. Take a look, they applaud the FBI but do not specifically condemn the perpetrators or their actions.
“We applaud the FBI for its efforts and repeat the American Muslim community’s condemnation and repudiation of all those who would plan or carry out acts of terror while falsely claiming their actions have religious justification.”
CAIR does not say that these people were falsely claiming their actions have religious justification. They do not specifically condemn the actions of the Islamo-facists who planned the attack. This leads one to think that CAIR believes these haters’ claims of “religious justification” were not false at all. It also urges people Muslims to report suspicious behavior.
“We continue to urge American Muslims to be vigilant in reporting any suspected criminal activities that could harm the safety and security of our nation.”
Notice, they only urge Muslims to report suspicious behavior, they do not want all Americans to report suspicious behavior. They do not even want all Muslims to report it, but only “American Muslims.” If you are Muslim of foreign birth, and not yet naturalized, then you can go on your merry little way and just forget about that stinger missile in the basement of your mosque.
It is these carefully crafted statements, which really say absolutely nothing of substance, that give people the uneasy feeling of distrust of the Muslim community - and especially of CAIR. If CAIR wants to condemn the people responsible for this plot, then they should. But instead, they offer a broad condemnation, not on acts of terror, but on acts of terror which are performed ‘falsely’ in the name of Islam. Acts of terror performed ‘truthfully’ in the name of Islam are OK.

Under pressure, Imams change suit |

The enormous outcry from the general public this past week has led the six Imams removed from a US Airways flight in November 2005 to change their lawsuit. No longer are they going to sue all the passengers who reported suspicious activity. Now they are only going to sue the racist passengers who reported suspicious activity.
The question must be asked. Who deems that one passenger is racist, while another was simply concerned with their safety? How will that determination be made? Since it is the Imams who have filed the suit, and who name persons in the suit, it is apparent that the Imams will have the sole discretion to make that judgment.
If this case goes anywhere, and is not immediately dismissed as frivolous, the prospect of anyone reporting suspicious activity in the future drops to almost nil. People will see something they believe to be suspicious, but will second guess themselves for fear of being sued. Even if they are represented by good patriotic lawyers for free and incur no legal bills, there is still time away from work and the general stress that goes into any court actions.
Luckily, hope is on the horizon. Rep. Peter T. King of New York has inserted language into a House rail safety bill, a shield law to protect people who report suspicious activity.
The case prompted House Republicans on Tuesday to insert a shieldlaw for “John Does” into a rail safety bill. The legislation wouldprotect passengers against lawsuits for reporting suspicious behaviorthat foreshadows a terrorist attack.
It is “unconscionable” that those who report suspiciousactivity could be “terrorized in our own court system in our owncountry,” said Rep. Steve Pearce, New Mexico Republican, who introducedthe measure.
We need this for airline travel, bus travel, subway travel and any other type of travel one can think of. There are shield laws to protect good Samaritans from civil and criminal action when they are trying to save one’s live (i.e. giving CPR) - so should there be this type of law when trying to prevent criminal and terrorist activity.
As always, thanks for visiting!

Don’t fear bogus lawsuits |

For those who don’t read the comments to the posts, the pro-terrorist “Reverand” Sutter checked in here. I don’t normally reply to comments in this fashion, but this time I just can’t help it.
This reverand has already decided the case based on the Imams’ side of the story. He is calling the passengers who reported suspicious activity liers:
but the police report notes that accounts of this are conflicting and not credible, a nice way of saying they were lying.
If the terrorist loving Sutter were to know anything about crime and law, he would know that eye-witnesses are the least reliable source of information about a crime. Each person sees things through their own interpretation. According to Sutter, the Imams did nothing wrong or out of the ordinary. He apperantly would have felt completely safe on a plane where people run around talking to each other, don’t sit in their assigned seats, and make demands they are not entitled too.
I will submit that if any normal person had demanded to sit in first class, then told their ticket was not upgraded to first class, but took seats there anyway, they would have been booted from the plane quicker than these jokers were. I will submit that by not booting them from the plane at that point, they were already receiving special treatment.
The goal of these so-called “religion of peace” leaders was to bait the airline into taking appropriate security measures to get them in court. In addition, they want to put the fear of civil liability into whatever backbone American citizens have left. My call to all Americans is to fight these pig hating asshats. Stand up for what America is about. Don’t get silenced by bogus lawsuits and intimidation tactics that run along the lines of the Scientologists.
